After receiving his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1992, Frank continued on to earn a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering/Construction Management the following year. Just out of school, he had lofty goals and high ideals, he wanted to make a difference; to solve problems.
Over the years, Frank’s professional experience has included the role of Project Architect/Manager and Construction Administrator for projects in the educational, municipal, corporate and healthcare markets. His role grew, making Partner just shy of his 30th birthday and developing a focus in the Educational Arena with work as an Educational Design Specialist. His attention to detail, empathetic ear and problem solving abilities have enabled him to better understand his clients needs and translate them into cost efficient, aesthetically pleasing solutions. Frank believed that personality, attention and professional, competent service, would foster more than just a client list, it would cultivate successful, lasting relationships with clients and consultants (many as long as 15 years).
In his continued quest to “make a difference”, Frank founded Solutions Architecture in 2009, a client-centric Architectural Firm whose focus was service rather than the “bottom line”; a formula that has allowed him to transform Solutions Architecture into a profitable, competitive force in Educational Architecture, growing a staff of ten in just 6 short years.
“I believe that my success in Architecture and in business has been based upon the fact I have always been committed to the client and the process; maintained open communications throughout the life of the project and taken responsibility for the outcome of the work, whether it effortless or problematic.”
It is my belief that a fundamental role of the Architect has always been that of a “Solution Seeker” and that our goal in this business and in life, is to look at any problem as an opportunity for change and improvement — Solutions.
A devoted father and family man, Frank enjoys spending time and traveling with family. Frank takes great pride in watching his son Daniel learn and appreciate the game of golf, a pastime they enjoy together whenever the opportunity presents itself. An appreciation for good food, wines, and cooking, and love of his Italian heritage, often sets the stage for dining out with friends or practicing his culinary skills for his family and perpetuates his delusion of someday becoming a gourmet chef. Frank is currently pursuing the development of computer software that will automate many of the time consuming tasks required of Architects and will assist them in becoming more efficient and profitable.
