To conceive architecture in the landscape and nature as a support of the project.

Our department Architecture & Vegetation is designing projects in which architecture is landscape.

We don't consider interior and exterior spaces as two different environments, our projects are not making distinction between them. We are convinced that architecture is landscape and landscape is architecture. We beleive that they are non distinguishable. It is necessary to go beyond the concept of architecture and to go into urban scale : we are not just dealing with an architectural object on one side and a garden or public space on the other side. However we are dealing with the planning of a territory.

Our department is behind the creation of the "Vegetation as a political agent" concept.

In our projects, vegetation is not just for esthetic beauty. Vegetation is a political agent in the sense that it defines a management of the territory, it allows interactions and it is meaningful.

History is marked by the political role of vegetation. To go back to it gives a certain lucidity on the comprehension of sites and their stakes.

We are developping projects from buildings scale or public space scale to wide landscape scale.
