This small structure was built with my Design-Build Class at the University of Colorado at Denver. It is located at the Urban Farm at Stapleton. The local non-profit Feed Denver was our client and the objective was to build a small structure to use for milking goats and shearing sheep as well as a pavilion for hands on education about urban and small farming and food production. We used donated and salvaged materials including gabion cages made from old fencing from the farm and broken and tumbled salvaged concrete for fill. This project won the AIA Colorado Award of Merit in 2010.
