When the Melbourne coffee scene came Brooklyn, NADA was tasked the transformation of raw commercial spaces in Bedford Stuyvesant and Prospect Park into Australian style coffee bars. In Bed-Stuy, the double storefront allows for a large central space accentuated by angled wide-plank oak flooring. Strong geometric shapes appear throughout with angular painted tables, colorful pendant lights, and a rotated tile accent wall. Seasonal plants, strategically selected and placed, add bright moments of contrasting color. Powder coated industrial furniture and a front counter made from reclaimed floor joists round out the relaxed, spacious design.
