Abington House on the High Line

A mixed use 33-story, 384,000 sq.ft. building, located at the northern end of Manhattan’s High Line, has 312 rental apartments. An L-shaped building wraps around its corner site to cradle a south-facing garden court defined by a mews-style cobblestone entry drive that runs under the High Line. Storefronts line Tenth Avenue and West 30th Street. Setback terraces on the sixth and thirtieth floors offer residents party spaces and a large sundeck.

The building exterior reinterprets the detailing and materials of its industrial neighbors for residential use with brick panels and painted steel banding. Four-story-tall bay windows with French balconies punctuate the facades.
