Studio Hillier, Princeton, NJ, US, Architecture Intern

Three years of working experience over the summer in a small interdisciplinary design firm. Because of the size of the firm (10-12 employees), my role became integral to the design process of many projects. Daily tasks included model building, schematic design, on-site surveying, detailing, rendering, documenting, and participating in design meetings with coworkers and clients. Each summer was filled with tremendous opportunities to progress my knowledge, craft, and design sensibilities. I also attended weekly AIA continuing education presentations and LEED certification courses hosted by the firm.
