I began working on this project while the framing was being erected. My role was to work with the owners to finalize their design decisions. I worked on updating the drawing revisions to resubmit to the building department; helping the owners make material selections; construction detail design, including the stair design, bathroom design, kitchen layout, glass guardrail details, stonework, and millwork designs; and attended weekly on-site meetings with the contractor and subs to review design changes and troubleshoot problems in the field. I drafted the interior elevations, shop drawings for the stonework and millwork fabrication using Vectorworks, and produced 3D models for clients in SketchUp.
