About

Appleseed Strategy grew out of my experience working with emerging and national architecture and planning firms. Early in my career, I joined Michael Willis Architects as its second employee and helped its expansion to three offices and 45 people over several years. During that time, I learned so much about the challenges firm leaders face in establishing a presence in the marketplace and began developing the strategies Appleseed uses to build a strong company. Because I wanted to learn more about how national firms operate, I subsequently held positions as marketing director and development director for widely regarded firms such as STUDIOS Architecture and Bohlin Cywinski Jackson. I am keenly interested in urbanism, sustainable design, culture and higher education, and how trends and the economy shape the built environment.
