Famed golfer Payne Stewart and his wife Tracey insisted on an old world residence with classical detailing. John Henry replied with a symmetrical villa that has one facade reflecting a Roman temple and the other an Italian baroque villa. The house is built on three levels on a gradual slope down to a pristine lake. The exterior classical motif is reflected with interiors that are sparingly applied with moldings, period columns and arches and special flooring. The stone on the exterior is a limestone imported from Mexico. The same is used as accents inside for balusters, columns and capitals. The house is wood framed with a stucco finish and ceramic tile. Some of the moldings are synthetic plastic.
