I am Jisoo Kim who recently graduated from the MSAUD program in GSAPP, Columbia. I am convinced that my experience will be beneficial in advancing the company. As such, here are the main areas of expertise
I have my responsibilities:
1. Maintaining Accuracy and Consistency in task completion in wide-scope scale projects
2. Efficient and fast design performance with schedule flexibility
3. Communication for team goal achievement
Within my recent years of experience as an urban planner in Smart Green City Lab, A-Z Lab for 3 years, and program manager at the Korean National Committee for UN-Habitat, I can work with a strong understanding of city and architecture with high efficiency. Since my Earlier experience is mostly focused on the schematic design for big-scale projects such as master planning and research, which can be a good chance for applying to expand the thinking for designing a single building large with wider perspectives for contemplating architecture/city’s vision.
Additionally, In my city design work at both Columbia University and Sungkyunkwan University, I’ve been thinking about how to disperse the variety of city memories to individuals by deploying three-dimension-ally implemented programs in a planar city and redesigning the social-physical infrastructure. This concept is particularly evident in two of my recent project, Atlanta University DeCenter, and The City Above the City, suggesting a ground sector railway as the chance to mitigate gentrification and building a new above-ground level, with the goal of increasing the property’s efficiency, productivity and public use.
