PERSONAL PROFILE
I find the challenge of architecture highly rewarding, the satisfaction of creating designs and overcoming potential hurdles is a continual progression of myself both personally and skill based. I am a confident, self-motivated and sociable individual. I work well both leading or as part of a team and also independently as required. I am adaptable, organised and eager to learn from others. I am willing to take responsibility and feel I can be relied on to complete tasks. In new situations I am able to use my own initiative and I am keen to ensure others are pleased with my work.
ACHIEVEMENTS
In my last year of university I was the atelier representative as well as a Teaching Assistant to undergraduates, undertaking this gave me a greater sense of responsibility and appreciation fo the influence and input I could provide to the future of the course.
At the end of my college course I was awarded Student of the Year within the Art and Design Department.
I volunteered to assist tutors critiquing the 1st and 2nd year student presentations; I also volunteered to assist at the AAE Conference, organised by one of my tutors at Nottingham Trent.
INTERESTS:
In my spare time I like to go to the gym, read, horse riding, surfing, rock climbing and skiing. I enjoy socialising and experiencing new and challenging things. I also enjoy travelling and intend to visit as many places as I can, hopefully using architecture as the means to do so and explore different cities.
