This irregular interior lot hidden in the lush vegetation of the Tarlac countryside presented many opportunities for a unique living experience. Among them; A quiet, peaceful getaway from city life. An immersive, refreshing journey into nature. and an ideal setting for a garden rest house.
The house bends to conform to the site, maximizing the space and creating pockets for social gatherings. An outdoor deck with a gazebo creates a quaint venue for afternoon coffee, taking in the fresh air as the sun sets over the West horizon.
Being a rest house, it was important to keep the spaces dynamic and adaptive for different kinds of gatherings with family and friends. To achieve this, the house was planned with four zones to accommodate and control the movement of guests:Each zone with a greater level of access and privacy.
The house’s central feature is of course, its garden. Flanked by a lawn on the Southwest side of the site, guests can comfortably convene surrounded by greens with shade in the morning and gentle sunset light in the afternoon. Entered from the front by its powder-coated steel moon gate, or from the rear by the outdoor dining area, the garden caters to the client’s request for outdoor activity space for children and adults alike.
