Haiti, consuming its abundant natural resource constantly, suffered 2010 earthquake which brought this country an urgent need of new material building typology. Directed by Thom Mayne, our team started site research in Haiti about local barriers and needs. Now, we have finished master plan design and construction drawing of bandshell which will be built in 2020 for the tenth anniversary of the Earthquake.With the chance of building CEMUCHCA Music School in Cap Haitian, we treat it also as a good opportunity to develop a sustainable construction typology for Haiti to revive their country.
