Atlanta, GA
School of Architecture faculty met yesterday to offer a fond farewell to Professor Libero Andreotti who will retire this semester after 23 years of service.
Andreotti is a native of Italy and a two-time Fulbright scholar. He received his M.Arch from Georgia Tech in 1982, and from 1994 to 2011 he was the Director of Georgia Tech’s Paris Program at the Ecole d’Architecture de Paris-La Villette in Paris, France.
Having received his Ph.D. from MIT School of Architecture + Planning, Andreotti will return to the institute this week as a guest panelist at the Stan Anderson and HTC (History, Theory & Criticism) Roundtable Symposium.
We are thankful for Professor Andreotti’s many contributions to the Georgia Tech School of Architecture and we wish him and his family all the best. Retirement is not the end, but simply a new beginning.
