There was a triangular shaped space on Pearl Street, in the heart of Dumbo, adjacent to the Manhattan Bridge, that used to be a small parking island. We, however, envisioned a greener space where people could stop and sit and enjoy the architecture of the Bridge. Today, we have transformed the triangle into a plaza where community interaction can take place. The space is available for public markets and special events, and the public art displayed in the middle creates a signature landmark in the heart of Dumbo’s Historical District.
