This project involved collaboration with students from one of the local Brooklyn high schools to re-envision an underutilized downtown space. Working to tackle the physical challenges of the space, we created a variety of landscape features, including a 50 foot green wall, a rainwater catchment system, and a vegetable garden. At the same time, we sought to raise awareness as to the importance of sustainable design, believing that if we can inspire the students to become environmental advocates, we can help promote self-sustainable communities.
