• Sustainable design includes: rooftop photo-voltaic system for generating electricity on site, storm water catchment system for irrigation of drought tolerant landscape, thick exterior walls for optimal thermal mass, insulated glazing systems, radiant in floor heating & passive solar orientation with shaded portals.
As a quiet retreat from the main house, the guesthouse/studio includes a large loft space with a wood burning fireplace/stove, bath, kitchen and a large terrace with shaded portal.
