The recent opening ceremony for this $230 million, 23 acre development project was ten years in the making. F13 was commissioned to do several renderings as well as an animation. This site was home to several different factories in its early times from automobile production to a bleachery where they bleached and produced linens and textiles of all types. Now it is being redeveloped into a center for all ages. Winthrop University is next door to this site and close to Charlotte, SC. The project calls for a hotel, student housing for Winthrop University, residential homes, restaurants, and a sports complex that could attract about 3,000 visitors each weekend. This project was modeled in SketchUp and 3DS Max and rendered using Corona renderer. Photoshop and ArionFX were used for post production.
