Business lounge at Brussels Airport by Brussels Airlines.

During this project I'm employed as Brussels Airlines' interior architect.

The lounge was enlarged from 1200m2 to over 2000m2 adding much more luxury, experiences and seating. The business passenger will be able to enjoy 11 different shower experiences inspired by the ultimate Spa experience with Grohe equipment. After a shower, since business passengers don't want to loose precious time, you can dry your hair with a Dyson Hairdryer with the newest technology drying your hair in only 5 seconds to 5 minutes.

Passengers can be exhausted during flights. Therefor I designed cozy naprooms and a massage room to relax and destress to the fullest. Metamorphosis created interesting photographs of heritage all over the world linked to Belgium to decorate these relaxation rooms. 

To make sure our guests are well entertained, they will soon have access to a pool room. A red high gloss 40 000 euro pool table is the feature piece in this room. As it is all in the detailes, the walls are finished with Corian Glacier white wainscoting to complete the design.

The silent area, 2 steps higher then the rest of the lounge has an amazing panoramic view on Tarmac with all planes standing at both Pier A and Pier B.

Another zone with this amazing view is the VIP zone reserved for HON and Senators. The VIP zone has 2 nice living rooms in Vitra lounge chairs and made to measure sofa's, a high bar to work at, a 6m long high end kitchen fully equipped with Miele appliances and a reference to the Zaha Hadid designs and own restrooms. This zone will soon also display the Flemish masters art in a modern digitalized way. All walls in the entire lounge are covered with Glacier white Corian.

This lounge will soon have a speciale breakfast bar by Le pain quotidien and a chocolate bar by Neuhaus having tastings for the passengers.
