As an architectural designer, I regularly push for the importance of Art within Architecture. To me, Architecture can be defined as the study of space. Regardless of whether said space is flat or volumetric, architectural decisions define how one interacts with their environment. When working with tight budgets, a flat wall provides a uniquely open opportunity for design and the incorporation of Art. Highlighted in my portfolio are numerous ways in which a flat wall can be transformed, to provide a unique and impactful experience within an environment.

From 2017-2020, I worked as Elena Manferdini’s right hand. As an Architectural Designer at Atelier Manferdini, my role also involved project management, office management, tech support, and a Teaching Assistant position at SCI-Arc. I was responsible for nearly every project, starting with the schematic design phase, leading through construction administration. I am comfortable working with multiple design directions to create something all parties can agree upon. In later design stages, I often took the lead with communication regarding drawings, fabrication, engineering, permitting and installation. I also led coworkers through daily tasks and critiques provided by the Principal and Client.
