Project Description

Idyllic Hotel is a boutique hotel in Cau Giay, Hanoi, Vietnam with the capacity of 75 rooms. The owner commissioned D1 Architectural Studio to create a unique design that makes the project stand distinct from the masses with its own compelling story and leave its signature mark on the landscape of the city.

The design of Jimmy Hotel imitates a bird nest. Guests residing in the hotel can immerse in a fantasy tropical forest, hearing the birds chirping from afar, tasting the freshness of raindrops, and sensing each subtle change in the ambience as each day unfolds.    

The design concept is born from the intersection between art, nature and architecture. The reception hall serves as the main exhibition area for budding artists to impress visitors with their artworks.  The ground floor’s layout takes inspiration from traditional craft villages in Hanoi. 

Upon its completion, Idyllic Hotel will become the medium that once again relates nature and society to one another.
