Courtney Ward, originally from Houston, Texas, pursued her passion for design at Texas A&M University, earning a Bachelor's in Environmental Design with a minor in Product Design. She continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with a Master's in Architecture in 2024.

Mario J. Romanach Fellowship, 1st Place
Established in memory of one of Penn’s most beloved teachers, the fellowship is awarded to a student entering the final year in the professional degree program, for demonstrated excellence in design, a love for architecture, and the determination to develop as an architect.
