The Mixed-Use Housing project focuses on creating an active community where people from different backgrounds and with distinguishing needs can interact in a variety of spaces. The project provides multiple shared areas distributed along the different levels to create interaction and a sense of community between occupants. These shared spaces include communal sitting areas, vegetable gardens, shared balconies with Downtown LA views, fitness areas, and an open courtyard that residents and people from the community can enjoy. An accessible health center and communal laundries with sitting areas are also provided. An open pool for the residents, sitting spaces, and a playground for families are located on the top floor providing expansive views of the city of LA
