Employment

Berliner Architects, Los Angeles, Architectural Intern

My summer internship at Berliner Architects provided me with a productive time of learning and collaborating with my coworkers. Throughout the summer, I actively engaged with projects alongside principal and project managers, producing drawings, models and concept designs for major client presentations in Adobe Suite, Rhino, AutoCAD and Revit. The main project was a campus planning project for a charter school in Pasedena, wherein I produced drawings, diagrams, and site analyses for presentations, and provided detailed documentation during client meetings and presentations. I was also invited to help produce details, perspective renderings and other representational drawings for other projects where assistance was needed, juggling numerous tasks with prioritisation and understanding key requirements for each of the project quickly.
I was fortunate to have the chance to win an internal design competition for an ongoing project. As a result, I developed the scheme to the construction detail level, contacting manufacturers and directly meeting with the client, stakeholders and contractors. The design is now built, located in LA.
