About 

Bea Badipe is a Design Professional at NAC Architecture. She holds a Masters in Architecture from the University of Washington and a Bachelors' Degree in Fine Arts and Design from Dartmouth College and is an active public artist. Most notably, she received the Seattle Arts & Culture Public Art Commission and the Andy Warhol Foundation Collective Power Fund and is currently a 2022 Artist in Resident at the Jack Straw Cultural Center.

As an artist, she enjoys creating community-centered pieces and has collaborated with organizations such as the Northwest African American Museum, Seattle Parks and Rec, and the Jimi Hendrix Foundation. As an architectural designer, she is passionate about creating social spaces that foster genuine interaction between people. She is a seasonal instructor at the Seattle Architecture Foundation.

Worked closely with lead designer and project manager on $1.5 million dollar private residence in Madrona neighborhood Seattle, WA
Developed clear plans, massing diagrams and marketing graphics for Hilda Solis 1st Care Village an award winning NAC Homeless Housing project
Supported Seattle Public School Wing Luke Elementary through cultural research, graphics, and assisted in designing the Wing Luke display honorarium in school
Provided conceptual and design development support to Orting Elementary School Project located in Orting, WA attending user group meetings with school staff and interpreting client desires into clear design ethos and decisions
Provided critical graphics and marketing support to both design and marketing dept. helping craft the building story and draw important connections between the building ethos and community values in order to communicate well with media outlets
Created marketing bond video materials using simple graphics and animations to help communicate the importance of voting for school bonds
