My name is Alex Asbury, originally from Marietta, Georgia, and currently enrolled at the University of Kansas School of Architecture & Design. I am pursuing my Master of Architecture with certificates in Design Build and Urban Design. My academic pursuits are driven by a profound interest in the dynamic realms of placemaking, sustainability, and experiential architecture.

In my exploration of these disciplines, I am committed to pushing boundaries and experimenting with innovative ideas to fashion spaces that go beyond mere functionality. My studies involve a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical applications, enabling me to translate conceptual ideas into tangible, impactful spaces. My professional experience, like my academic, has similarly been diverse. Between hand drawn master plans for agrihoods in rural Georgia to retail construction documents in downtown Atlanta. I have been fortunate enough to partake in a wide array of projects.
