Tim Durfee and Iris Anna Regn are Los Angeles-based designers who frequently collaborate as the eponymous Tim Durfee & Iris Anna Regn.

     Their architectural work overlaps with other fields of design and art: in the creation of award-winning exhibitions and installations; in buildings, interiors, and furniture; and in conceptualizing urban networks and communication systems. Current projects include the design of private residences, installations, and objects. In September they won a competition through the Department of Cultural Affairs for a large-scale public artwork for the Los Angeles Police Department.

      In addition to his own interdisciplinary studio, Tim  Durfee is the founder and director of amp, a project initiative out of the Media Design Practices (MDP) program at Art Center College of Design that produces research, exhibitions, installations, public programs, and publications around an annual theme. Prior to Art Center, he taught at SCI-Arc and Woodbury.

     Iris Anna Regn cofounded the design and art project BROODWORK, which examines the transformations in the nature and subject of artistic practice that are brought about by parenthood. She is also a contributing writer for Herman Miller Lifework, Family and Practice Advisor at the Architecture and Design Museum, Los Angeles, and board member of the Los Angeles Forum for Architecture and Urban Design.
