Columbia Plaza, Limassol

This complex of buildings was built in the 1960`s as a car showroom, office, service garage and spare parts depot by the Cyprus agent for Rootes, Singer products and Hillman and Humber cars. The project is situated in the old town in an area which has become the centre of nightlife, full of bars and restaurants. The conversion and extension houses two restaurants, one club/piano bar, multi purpose conference centre, shops, 12 individual maisonettes and indoor parking for 100 cars. While maintaining its 60`s look the building has been transformed into a contemporary centre which has become the new focal/reference point for the town. The existing concrete structure was completely stripped  and reinforced with a complex steel structure.
