UCLA Architecture and Urban Design (UCLA AUD) is pleased to celebrate the start of the 2023-2024 academic year and to announce its program of Fall 2023 public events. The Department cherishes its role as convener of design research and dialogue, and is proud to present a series of globally renowned designers, fascinating innovators, and UCLA AUD alumni among its Fall 2023 lineup. 

UCLA AUD’s interest in climate and sustainability remains a guiding priority for the Department. Among other programming, the Department convenes two events this fall for its ongoing “Architecture After the Green New Deal” initiative, with an October 6 workshop featuring Iñaki Ábalos and Renata Sentkiewicz of Abalos+Sentkiewicz AS+, and a two-day conference on November 3 and 4 featuring a range of voices and perspectives. 

UCLA AUD is also excited to open its next admissions cycle this Fall, with an online Open House on Thursday, October 26. Prospective students and other interested audiences are encouraged to follow us on Instagram for updates on upcoming deadlines, as well as a look at life, pedagogy, and culture at the Department.
