I am currently a second year M.Arch student at Ball State University with an interest in responsive architecture, digital fabrication and an overall intrigue with technology.
Emerging Technologies, Muncie, IN, US, Graduate Assistant
Graduate and Teaching Assistant for a variety of classes, primarily dealing with Adobe Photoshop and After Effects, as well as projects involving Rhino, 3DS Max, and 3D printing + rapid prototyping.
Blackline Studio, Indianapolis, IN, US, Intern Architect
From January to June 2012 I was able to work for Blackline Studio in Fountain Square [Indianapolis,IN]. During my time with Blackline I was able to take part in a variety of projects including single family, multi-family, civic and commercial. Because of the work flow and the nature of the firm, I was able to take part in many different facets of design and interaction with clients and contractors.
I worked on several projects as a designer, two of which are highlighted on this page [Englewood CDC and Shirley Engraving] and worked extensively on 3D work and marketing.
Digital Corps, Muncie, IN, US, Designer
As a member of the design team I was able to work with clients outside of the university on several graphic design projects. Internally, I worked on installation design and redesigned classroom spaces as a means to become more dynamic, team driven learning environments.
I had the opportunity to work with a wide array of computer programs, ranging from the Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino and SketchUp, all the way to video/audio editing software.
Ball State University, Muncie, IN, US, MArch, Architecture
Currently involved in the thesis year of the M.Arch program, researching responsive/interactive design environments and materials through a cloud context of interchangeable observations and measurements. Information on this can be found through:
I am also involved in the research and implementation of robotics in the field of architecture as a conveyor, instead of solely household objects.
