The project was to design visitor's center for Chautauqua National Wildlife Refuge. Main goal of the project was to provide different kind of experience to the visitors. First is to experience the horizontality of landscape on the roof of the building, along the existing pathway. Second is to experience the change of topography within the building. Change of ceiling height is from 12 ft to 8 ft from one end to the other.
