Intern at Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site with SCA and AmeriCorps, as an extension of the Parks for the People Competition (a collaboration between the U.S. National Park Service, Van Alen Institute, and the National Parks Conservation Association, with support from the National Endowment for the Arts and Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy) and a project of Designing the Parks.
The internship included the development of Hopewell Furnace NHS General Management Plan, Foundation Document, trail analysis, grant writing, ecological guidebook, graphic design and illustrations for Fitness trail brochure and Junior Ranger Program, in conjunction with Pratt Institute and Rutger's studio proposals.
