SCI-Arc is proud to present this year’s fall public programming series, which continues its commitment to maintaining a robust platform for interdisciplinary discourse. SCI-Arc’s fall 2023 program will include talks, book releases, and exhibitions featuring influential figures from a wide range of cultural practices such as Benedetta Tagliabue, Alper Derinboğaz, Barbara Bouza, Victoria Camblin, and more. SCI-Arc events are free and open to the public. For more information about upcoming events, please visit https://sciarc.edu/events/. All events are listed in Pacific Standard Time and are broadcast live online on SCI-Arc’s Livestream and Facebook page.

Kicking the season off, the renowned 2023 Graduate Thesis final review weekend will take place September 8-10, with the work on view to the public until September 13. On September 29, SCI-Arc faculty Peter Trummer will celebrate the release of his book The City as a Technical Being: On the Mode of Existence of Architecture, which depicts the city throughout history as the site of fusion of the qualities of urban objects, or buildings, ultimately giving rise to new kinds of architecture. SCI-Arc design faculty David Eskenazi (M.Arch '13) will also present a new exhibition opening in the SCI-Arc Gallery on October 20.
