Prime Corporate Center

SCB was the design architect for the Prime Corporate Center, a 250,000-square-foot, Class- A office building in Warsaw, Poland. Occupying a key parcel at the intersection of two major arteries in downtown Warsaw, the design respects the existing lower-scaled street wall by setting the 23-story tower back from an eight-story base, and successfully integrates the taller massing into the existing fabric of this emerging high-rise commercial district. The entry access addresses the arrival points of vehicle and pedestrian by segregating car drop-off from those arriving by public transit.

SCB’s design features a curtain wall composed of clear and fritted glass that provides a subtle interplay of pattern and texture. At night, the exterior wall is further dramatized by the incorporation of a grid of LED lights into the curtain wall system to produce a delicate, shifting array of color and pattern. The entry wall features mullion-less glass to maximize the sense of transparency between the outer courtyard and office lobby. The interior lobby space, elevator lobbies, and elevator cabs incorporate rich stone, wood, and backlit glass ceilings and walls to enhance the entry experience. The office plates have a raised floor system and are column-free with a floor-to-ceiling glass perimeter. The project is BREEAM certified on the UK-based green building rating system – the equivalent to LEED Silver.
