The 700 sq m (7, 750 sq ft) home was designed for a colombian industrialist, as his vacation home in a tropical environment. The climate is humid and hot, with occasional heavy winds and thunderstorms. 

Bioclimatic considerations are, therefore, very important. The space in this house is generous and its main characteristic is a tropical garden, that helps to regulate  weather passively.
