About 

Ruy Porto is an Architect by the Polytechnics University of Madrid (ETSAM) since 2007, who is working in Tokio since January 2011 as a new challenge.

His international architectural training began 7 years ago when he studied one year abroad at University in Paris within the Erasmus program. Then, during the elaboration of his graduate thesis in 2006, he completed internships at two of the world’s most contemporary offices, Eisenman & Architects at New York and Atelier Jean Nouvel at Paris.
After that he worked in Madrid, at the renowned architecture Office of Andrés Perea (lead design teacher at the ETSAM). Being part of the team developing plans, construction details and overlooking the construction of ”The City of Culture” in Santiago de Compostela, by Peter Eisenman in cooperation with the Engineering Office Euroestudios. During three years he had also participated in several competitions for Abu Dhabi in United Arab Emirates with direct implication in the design and presentation eventually acting as a teacher of Rhinoceros software for the office staff.
