I graduated Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Pontifical University of Santo Tomas, Manila in 1991 and am a licensed Architect in the Philippines.
An office day with a new project undergoes the design process which starts off with the usual research into architectural methodologies, data collection of the intended usage of materials, investigation into cultural, historical, social and contextual aspects and onto the successive developments of design whilst doing office work and mentoring/encouraging and developing the staff into becoming good leaders in the future.
In addition to the knowledge I've obtained from my academic education, work experiences in Manila, Beijing, Shenzhen and Hong Kong has provided me with a diverse background in the discipline of Architecture as well as Interior Architecture. During my tenure at BLVD International, I had learned more to be proactive and self-motivated, with a continuous desire to both learn from and mentor others because I was the only one, at the time, that the principal depended upon my design solutions with strong aesthetic sensibilities, to figure out what works and does not, in submitting or presenting a good product to the client.
Though my knowledge in the use of software is limited to AutoCad, Form-Z, Adobe apps, Autodesk Apps and Sketchup; I learn quickly in terms of new software applications. I still draw by hand which I can say I am very proficient at especially when I have the free reign to conceptualize a new project design. In terms of language proficiency, speaking and writing in English is second to my national language; as for Mandarin, my proficiency is basic and cantonese, a few words learned during my tenure at Aedas Hong Kong.
I am currently residing in the Philippines.

Other projects worked on simultaneously are Residential Interiors, Hospitality Interior Design renovation of various and selected areas within Solaire Hotel and Casino in Manila and another Casino/Hotel within Metro Manila. Also worked on planning/layout of industrial projects.

Master planning, appropriating property space percentages & envisioning of the architectural imagery applied to the project sites that ranges from 8 Hectares to 250 Hectares of mixed use development within suburban Metro Manila and other areas within the Philippines. Most project contracts are initially conceptual. Other projects are popular Interior retail and dining places in Manila such as iHop and Applebee's.
Freelance Work Period, Quezon City, PH, Senior Architectural & Interior Designer
Provided the clients the design proposals, direction and input for every architectural and interior design project. Architectural and architectural interior projects worked on in are community clubhouse, mid-residential tower, & a high-rise office tower and residential tower interiors in Manila, Philippines.

Undertook architectural renovation design of old low-rise buildings for adaptive re-use; and interior architecture design of residential, hospitality and retail projects – focused on jewelry shops located in Hong Kong SAR. Initiating design from conception to ensuring completed construction.

Assigned to design architectural residential projects located in mainland China; Resolved architectural & interior architectural design issues pertaining to the lobby, marquee, poolside cabana, the LPG facility and other areas in the process of completing the Parcel 5 & 6 of The Venetian estate located in Macau SAR. Worked on project documentation work simultaneously with the design work.
