Directed the brand transformation design initiative for the largest extended stay pipeline hotel brand in North America “TownePlace Suites”, with nearly 450 properties throughout the US and Canada. Reinvented brand perception and enhanced guest experience.

• Developed the new décor prototype for TownePlace Suites and set up the new brand standards.
• Managed a multi-disciplinary team of 15, to create a timely, purchase ready design documentation and model room, (involving architecture, design, lighting, construction, product design, procurement, estimating and design management).
• Led the efforts of implementing the new TownePlace Suites décor to 3 renovation cycles ensuring a cost neutral impact.
• Collaborated closely with, Brand, Development, Operations teams and listened carefully to franchisee’s needs for delivering a new, successful, upscale guest experience for the brand.
• Participated as a member of a high-volume, deadline-oriented project management team, ensuring project completion on-budget, on-schedule and to the highest quality possible.
• Supervised the implementation process of the construction documentation with outside architectural firms.
• Led design for all key FF&E elements for public spaces and guestrooms in collaboration with Marriott’s internal commodities team and manufacturers from concept through prototypes production, integrating upscale designs with end user functionality.
• Delivered, reviewed, and maintained design documentation, including; spec books, shop drawings, construction documentation and interior signage packages.

Created designs for hospitality projects based on emerging trends. Including multi-family amenities, corridors, and units at various scales and budgets, based on client’s brand and target markets. Designed and managed all stages of projects from inception through completion. Led team efforts for multiple hospitality projects, including “THE BELGARD” in Washington DC, mixed-use project with 13 stories, 346 units & 10,000 sq. ft. Amenity space, as well as “CHEECA LODGE & SPA” tropical luxury resort, 214 guestrooms renovation in the Florida Keys.
• Provided design studies and documentation within all stages of projects, including concept development, client consultation, FF&E selection and specification, schematic presentations & finish boards, budget, construction documents, MEP coordination, construction administration.
• Led various projects simultaneously and monitored junior staff work, to keep projects on track and ensuring deadlines were met within budget.
• Developed and documented finishes and color schemes, FF&E, custom furniture and lighting.
• Elaborated construction documents and participated on the review process.
• Served as the point of contact for day-to-day communications with clients, architects, contractors, MEP engineers, consultants (lighting, code, LEED, Furniture, etc.), providing guidance addressing any emerging issues, reviewing and approving shop drawings, submittals, design details, prototypes and model apartments.

• Prepared and communicated pre-project site inspection data to the team.
• Completed required working drawings in accordance with standards for each brand.
• Conducted on-site meetings with Staff and sub-contractors, to communicate the execution plan and ensure adherence to standards.
• Developed furniture fabrication documents for retail stores. Coordinated with sister company ‘Modar Inc’ for local production.
• Designed the company exhibition booth for the major annual Euro-Mediterranean Garment Trade Show “TEXMED“.
