Research Station

Due to the restricted accessibility in the region,considering the stipulations of the Antarctic Treaty, the station is designed in such a way that it is completely self-sufficient and allows for a complete disassembly. It’s difficult to design buildings for the extreme climatic conditions of Antarctica: architects have to account for the ever-piling snow, freezing cold, and periodic windstorms.
