01 Queens Health Center

This 6-story ambulatory care building features a generous dropoff, concrete panel massing that levitates a white, channel-glass light box over a generous drop off area and angular vestibule. The ground floor includes an activated grand lobby space, an “iThrive” that supports wellness and educational events, a pharmacy, and hospitality-inspired waiting areas. The clinic floors will not have typical waiting rooms as members “self-room,” aided by an integrated system of check-in kiosks, mobile device apps, and electronic location systems. The efficiencies gained are reinvested into a patient-centered exam room clinic model where integrated health services come to the patients, minimizing patient travel throughout the facility and reducing the length of each visit.
