Boy Scouts of the Philippines Headquarters, Manila

The BSP Headquarters in Manila was designed in 1955 by Juan Nakpil, National Artist for Architecture.  It exploited the benefits of brise soleil as a solar modulating device and as a decorative articulation of the principal face of the edifice.  (Lico, Gerard.  Arkitekturang Pilipino: A History of Architecture and Urbanism in the Philippines.)
