The parti of Diller Scofidio and Renfro's Broad Art Museum (the Veil and the Vault) is parametrically crossbred with the differential scalar multiplication of Foster's Swiss Re to yield the Transitory Tower. The veil houses a hotel, capitalizing on the site's location infilled in Central Hong Kong on Victoria Harbor; the vault is a financial data server center servicing the adjacent 1 IFC development, reducing latency and saving millions of HK$ a year.
