The PerFORM[D]ance House is conceived as a dynamic and ever changing architectural space.  Formally, its program is contained in a simple rectangular volumen covered by an immense overhang surrounded by a generous amount of outdoor space.  A covered veranda wraps around th house providing its users a shaded and comfortable exterior space.  This is appropriate for Miami and tropical/subtropical climates alike.  Heavy rains and high temperatures are characteristics of these regions throughout the year.  The house encourages its occupants to expand the interior space and inhabit the exterior.  A green wall is introduced in the south facade thus protecting the house from heavy solar radiation throughout most of the day while allowing for a subtle passage of natural light.
