“All of my work is essentially derived from some previous source. A lot of times what I’m doing is re-imaging something or transforming it slightly, but it’s
always very much in connection to its source.”
Whether critical, irreverent, or introspective, the artists and designers in “Memory” delve into personal memory and the past, transforming them in their
work. In my case, I also influenced by my own past when I make a concept and create a space.
When I was young, I played with boys not girls because girls were always boring. We made toys by ourselves with branch, stone, tire of a car, plastic bag
etc and we always played outside space. My favorite game was who is hanging on the branch much longer. It was exciting and I influenced by my childhood
to make this space. It is important thing is to analysis what makes a situation exciting or important and be able to incorporate those elements into
design. I want to put from my memory of childhood into the space. Especially, I remember the sound of water of a stream, and falling into the water. I tried
to express this sound memory into the space.
