Vocation School

Makoko is an impoverished neighborhood in which houses are built on stilts above water. This community lacks basic amenities and employment is at its lowest. The proposed design is a floating vocational school consisting of 5 buildings, complemented with their own floating fields in order to foster 5 disciplines which are Market, Photovoltaic, Agriculture, Fishing, and Water Harvesting. The Vocational school will teach the people new and effective ways to produce goods. These goods will be traded amongst themselves and sold across neighboring communities.

Photovoltaic 7,353 sq ft
Agriculture 9,170 sq ft
Fishing 5,596 sq ft
Water Harvesting 8,532 sq ft
