After the earthquake that affected various areas in Mexico during 2017, the destruction of real estate in the area of San Gregorio presented an opportunity to rethink public space and the impact it generates. We believe that public space is contagious and that every time an opportunity is given, it is able to permeate within the collective life of the area. The square, as a space, is the node where human connections are generated and give rise to multidisciplinary activities that foster the cultural and social fabric of a town like San Gregorio.
