Oni Chair.
By using different colors and materials like wood and silk, I sought a seat type design that visually managed to express the mixture of Japanese culture with western. An important aspect is its shape, which is curved and warped and tries to imitate the outbreak and birth of a flower.
For the finished product, I sought an iconic name that distinguishes the Japanese culture, so I delved into characteristic features of ancient Japan, regardless of any religious significance.
By the way it was finalist of the contest :):)
