About

Isabelle Bouthillier is in her last semester at Florida International University (FIU) on track to receive her Masters degree in Interior Architecture, with a previous Bachelors degree from Miami (OH) University in Architecture. Her passion for architecture and interior design has influenced her to strive toward extraordinary measures to create unique and refined works.  Her extensive education has led her to develop a particular understanding of architectural philosophy, and the correlation it has to human needs and behavior in order to make site specific design decisions.  In addition to her core design studios, Isabelle's educational training has consisted of several interdisciplinary graduate courses, including graphic design, structural engineering, architectural theory, and construction documents, which have contributed to her holistic approach to design projects.

Professionally, Isabelle has had the opportunity to work as a Graduate Assistant at Florida International University, where she was highly involved in the preparation efforts by her department to ensure the successful accreditation of the Interior Architecture Department from the CIDA (Council for Interior Design Accreditation.)  She has also been active in interdisciplinary settings, where she was responsible for assembling various schedules for an IKEA Home Furnishings location in Montreal, QC, 3-D modeling efforts, and developing design schematics.
