About

I have recently graduated with Masters in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University. My experience in Architectural design, building technology and construction in Mumbai and at Columbia University has earned me academic prizes for it.

I am especially inspired by the idea of building components such as columns, walls, floors and roofs being interrelated and compatible with each other and performing as one coherent entity in space. I strongly believe in the idea of designing at all scales in all projects from urban to detail with innovation.

I was selected to be a part of the Student Exchange Program with the University of Nottingham, UK which helped me broaden my learning on a global level. Also, have been awarded by the Indian Institute of Architects Memorial prize for standing first in my school for Architectural Design.

Professionally, I have been involved in planning and making technical drawings for high-end residential projects in Mumbai and a University in Bhutan. My experience in these projects broadened my knowledge of building technology, structural design and material resolution, as well as my ability to utilize AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhinoceros, Microsoft Office, Adobe suite and other graphics communication programs. I am proud of my current achievements and now want to seek more novel avenues in the future.
