Initially hired as an intern architect but quickly promoted. Managed multiple commercial, civic and residential projects with budgets of up to $6 million. Led a team of 4 to develop, produce and deliver construction documents of two housing projects. Managed zoning applications, building code reviews, bid packages, cost estimates, dealt with multiple clients and oversaw programming and site analysis. Overview: Hired during a busy period and quickly came up to speed with little guidance. Promoted into a leadership role during a challenging time and successfully handled an increased workload with fewer staff.
→ Retained 100% of clients, contributing to the company’s growth during an economic downturn.
→ Handled design and construction documentation/administration for several residential and civic projects ranging from 1,395 to 90,000 sqft.
→ Managed meetings of government projects and proposals as well as private ones, varying from large‐scale developments to small ones.

Worked with four schematic design proposals for the Public Private Alliances Agency competitions for the Schools of the 21st Century Program of the Government of Puerto Rico. Contributed to the production of Construction Documents for a Social Interest housing development.
→ Developed design concepts, digital models, description documents and preliminary construction documents of schools ranging from 70,000 to 300,000 sqft.
